World Wrestlers Perform Friday in Sudan
14 March, 2017KHARTOUM (SUDANOW) – The Sudanese wrestling fans are waiting to see alive some of the most famous world wrestlers performing on a ring in al-Miriekh Football Stadium in Omdurman, this Friday, the first time ever.
Nine of the 17 wrestlers are from the United States of America including Rey Mysterio, Carlito, Chris Masters and John Morrison.
They perform within the Free Wrestling Festival which is sponsored by the Sudanese International Company “Bahar”.
The entry ticket price ranges from 200, 300, 500 to 1000 Sudanese pounds (1 US dollar = 10 Sudanese pounds in the parallel market).
Meanwhile, the Sudanese Wrestling Association organized Thursday a match for the Sudanese traditional wrestlers in honour of the visiting world wrestlers. The match was attended by the Ministers of Youth and Sports in Khartoum and Kassala State and other senior sports officials.
