Heroics and stories from the battlefield

These days, the world is witnessing heroic epics written by the people of Sudan, who are waging a fierce war against the rebel militia and thousands of mercenaries supported by international entities. The Sudanese army has made great sacrifices in defense of the homeland, with many martyrs and wounded.
Among these sacrifices, there are heroic stances, stories, and tales that prove the bravery and determination of the Sudanese soldier and his readiness to defend his country.
Sudanow presents some of these sacrifices and heroic stories from within the battlefield.
This story is real, yet it feels almost like fiction, as reported by military sources.
Sudanow has known that, in the early days of the war, the militia attacks on the Engineering Corps in the southern Omdurman area were intense and violent. However, the heroes of the Engineering Corps, with determination and steadfastness, managed to repel and break every attack.
Once upon atime, the militia launched an attack on one of the advanced defenses with a massive number of vehicles and soldiers. The only option for the defending soldiers was to stand their ground and fight ,resisting until the last breath. However, the attack was overwhelmingly strong, leaving behind many wounded and martyrs , and only three soldiers remained in the defenses (three lions). They managed to hold their ground and continue fighting with every weapon at their disposal, destroying several rebel combat vehicles. As a result, the attack weakened significantly.
As the battle was continuing , one fighter was injured, while another was martyred. Only one lion remained. The rebel militia rejoiced, believing they had successfully breached the defensive line.
Little did they know that one lion still roared.
This lion had only one option to gather the weapons of his fallen fellows. He collected two Dushkas, a G3, and an RPG.
The militia advanced further, convinced that the defense had collapsed. They never expected that someone was still alive.
Suddenly, this lion charged at them, wielding two Dushkas one in his right hand and the other in his left. He attacked as if he were not alone. Dropping the Dushkas, he grabbed the RPG
He set down the RPG and grabbed the PKM. Then, he crawled across the ground to reach an ammunition belt. Rising once more, he continued his relentless assault.

This soldier fought on, unwavering, until he managed to destroy two vehicles and a 23mm .
The militia bet on his ammunition running out.
He bet on his soul running out.
The militia's last option was to advance further and attempt to target him with an RPG. The soldier was reaping their souls, one after another. They succeeded in their choice and managed to launch two rockets toward him. From their perspective, the rocket hit the target, as the explosion was clear evidence.
They believed that with this, the story of this line had ended, and they thought that the one who was fighting had been martyred. So, the militia advanced more easily, bypassing the defense.

The soldier sustained severe injuries to his foot and several other wounds. While lying on the ground, he thought to himself, If the militia reaches me, they will kill me. It’s better to continue fighting and achieve martyrdom. He rose from under the rubble, gathered his strength, and grabbed the fallen machine gun in front of him, using the hole caused by the explosion. Then, he made his final declaration of faith. When he looked at the militia, he realized they were much closer than he had anticipated. Without hesitation, he attacked them while they were unaware. This sudden assault took out three vehicles, including the attack leader's vehicle. The militia became disoriented and attempted to retreat, but their withdrawal turned into a valuable opportunity, and he began taking their souls.
As the militia withdrew, the warplanes intervened, destroying and dispersing the attacking forces.
This soldier, in a moment of clarity, realized that those who were once close to overtaking him were now dead. He lay on his back, unconscious, and only regained consciousness in the hospital, where doctors decided to amputate his foot. His foot was amputated, but he saved the feet and lives of many others. He smiled, proud of what he had achieved. His story was witnessed only by those who were injured with him; some believed it, while others considered it an impossible fantasy.
This soldier was Sergeant Abdul-Muhaymin Shamo, from the Air Defense, Khashm al Qurba, one of the heroes of the Battle of Dignity.
