Dr. Khaled Al-Aeisir, the Minister of Culture and Information and the official spokesperson for the government, mourned her, saying: "With utmost respect and reverence, we mourn the heroic fighter, the esteemed martyr Dr. Hanadi Hamid, 'the daughter of El Fasher,' who inscribed her name in letters of light in the record of courage and dignity, and made herself a symbol of belonging, pride, and loyalty to her nation and people. The martyr was an example of the free woman, refusing to submit to the monsters of crime and aggression, so she chose to walk the path of resistance shoulder to shoulder with her fellow fighters, and advanced to the front lines to rescue the wounded and prisoners in the battles of dignity."
