A Victory By Sports Woman

KHARTOUM (Sudanow) – Member of the Executive Office of the Sudanese Olympic Committee Hanadi al-Sidiq has been elected vice-president of the Arab Badminton Federation.
Al-Sidiq is the President of the Sudan Badminton Federation. This Federation was established in March 2003 thanks to her efforts within the Sudanese Olympic Committee.
Ms al-Sidiq started her regular sports activities within the Sudan’s Hilal Club, women sector, in 2002.
A graduate of Omdurman Ahlia University, English Section, she is equally a renowned journalist in Sudan.
Al-Sidiq told Sudanow that the new position within the Arab Federation was won as a result of years of strenuous efforts seeking to place the country in places of prominence it deserves.
“The victory, 7 - 3, was dear as I had competed with Omer Bilali of Morocco who is one of the emperors and founders of the Arab Badminton Federation” al-Sidiq stressed.
