The Botanical Garden decorated with fall flowers

Khartoum, (Sudanow) - The annual flower exhibition was inaugurated last week at the Botanical Garden in Al-Muqran district in the capital, Khartoum, under the auspices of the Horticultural Society, which used to organize it annually in a cultural and social event of importance to the community of Khartoum State, nearby areas, flower lovers and amateurs from inside and outside Sudan as well.
The exhibition is an outlet for families to spend good moments, enjoy watching rare types of flowers, buy some of them, listen to nice songs and meet their friends there. There are some Bazaars for selling food, coffee, accessories, and beautiful national products.
The National Botanical Garden in Khartoum, is the permanent venue for the exhibition, is considered one of the oldest botanical gardens in Africa and the Arab world, as it was established in the year 1954. Its area is about 11 acres
The garden includes many rare species of plants, which represent a bank of plant genetic assets in Sudan.
The garden used to hold many events that achieve its goals, especially flower exhibitions, which are very popular among the Sudanese.
