Port Sudan (Sudanow) - On International Women's Day, March 8, we pay tribute to the spirit of one of Sudan's women, martyr Police lieutenant Colonel Nehad Mohammed Mohjoub. She remained stationed with the engineering corps in Omdurman, providing first aid and evacuating the wounded from the front lines.
After the road was opened at the intersection of the engineering corps and the Karri army, she chose to stay and continue her great struggle until she became a martyr. Her immortal words were: I am a woman, and I am a policewoman، representing the police forces. Now, I fight with the armed forces in the same trench, and I will fight with them until death or martyrdom.
Sudanow knew that martyr Police lieutenant Colonel Nehad was born in the city of Al-Rusayris, Blue Nile State, in the early 1980s. Her roots go back to the region of Kamir Awadia, rural Shendi. She ignited the enthusiasm of the fighters in the front lines, urging them to stand firm, persevere, and fight.
