The award was received by Chargé d'Affaires of the Mission, Ambassador Dr. Bakhit Ismail Dhahiya, last Friday at a ceremony held at the University of Ottawa.
The President of the Association, Markebe Dempsey, said that the Sudanese embassy's win is a recognition of its exemplary services, diplomatic outreach, and continuous support for students and professionals of African descent in North America. He added that it also acknowledges the embassy's outstanding efforts to promote, enhance, and develop African culture within Canadian society.
