Top Of The Sudanese Secondary School Certificate

Mohammad Mubarak Abdallah came top of the Sudanese Secondary School Certificate for 2017, scoring 97.1 percent of the total mark.
Abdallah sat for the exam from Youif Addigair secondary School of Karare neghborhood, Omduraman, Khaartoum State.
Sudanese families are showing mounting interest in the result of the Secondary School Certificate, which the public considers the sole criteria for excellence and a guarantor for good university education.
"Early in the academic year, I put a paper on my study desk in which I wrote: I must come top of the secondary school certificate and would be contented with no less than 98 percent score,'' said Abdallah after the result was announced." I used to look at that paper whenever I sat to study. It was a big motivation for me and had encouraged me to keep studying," he said.
Ms. Einas Mohammad al-Ameer and Ms. Nada Mohammad al-Sir came second to Abdallah, scoring 97 percent.
69 female students were among the top 100 students, a continuation of girls good performance during the last three decades.
