Sudan Performs Spectacularly In Rwanda Taekwondo Championship

KHARTOUM (Sudanow) - Sudan has scored a new sports achievement when it ranked third in the International Taekwondo Championship in Rwanda, clinching two gold and three silver medals, in addition to the best player and coach prizes.
Seven countries and a number of sports clubs have participated in the contest.
The Sudanese team was accorded a warm welcome upon landing at Khartoum Airport Tuesday by the board members of the Taekwondo Federation. Among the well-wishers was president of the Federation engineer Hussam Hashim and the Honorary President of the Federation Mutasim Haj Altoam.
Altoam has promised the players “unprecedented incentives.”
The contest was held during 5-7 October. Alkhatim Alamin (youngsters) and Aizak Saeed collected two gold medals.
Three silver medals were attained by Aasim Hub Aldeen, Yousif Arweesh and Ahmed Mohamed Osman.
