Evacuation Of Sudanese Students From Wuhan

KHARTOUM (Sudanow) - Sudan has started evacuation of hundreds of students from the town of Wuhan, China, with the help of the United Arab Emirates, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs announced on Wednesday.
In a press statement the Ministry said the evacuation procedures for the Sudanese students in Wuhan, China, started Tuesday morning and that they would take off early morning Wednesday.
The ministry said the consent of the Chinese authorities was secured before the process was launched.
The press statement stated that buses carrying the Sudanese students leave Wuhan on Tuesday and will arrive at the airport at around 05:00 pm Sudan time, explaining the planes will leave at that country at 03:00 am on Wednesday, Sudan local time.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that it will continue its efforts to follow up the conditions of these students during their stay in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The statement said the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs has voiced “Sudan gratitude and appreciation to the United Arab Emirates for its sincere and fruitful cooperation in evacuating and hosting the Sudanese students until their return home safely.”
