KHARTOUM (Sudanow)—The triumphant popular revolution has been made not only to uproot the oppressive, corrupt regime but also to achieve a comprehensive, radical change and to prepare for the establishment of a civilian, democratic regime, said Al-Fatih Jabrah in a column that was carried by Aljareedah daily newspaper of Sunday.
However, the columnist added that the revolution was abducted when the security committee of the defunct regime came in by participation in the transitional government, thus changing the characteristic features of the revolution.
Jabrah devoted this column to bitterly criticizing the member of the former transitional military council, Lt. Gen. Salah Abdul Khaliq, for his opposition to plans for handing former president Omar al-Beshir over to the International Criminal Court (ICC) and for calling for early elections in the Sudan.
The columnist has stated that the armed forces have long been dead, having become weak, that a pertinent remark has earlier been made by Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Hametti and was obvious when the armed forces failed to protect the revolutionaries during a June 3 sit-in beside the armed forces headquarters
How can such forces defy the revolutionaries and the Freedom and Change Forces (FCF), wondered Jabrah in reference to a statement by Abdul Khaliq, challenging the spearhead of the December Revolution by saying that if they want to hand Beshir over to the ICC, "let them come first to fight against us and we will show them how the war is," describing the handover as "a red line."

Writing on Assayha daily newspaper of Monday, Al-Tahir Satti lamented the death of ethics in Sudan in reference to ambition and greediness by Sudanese merchants for storing away masks for selling later on in much higher prices.
The columnist made reference to a report by a Sudanese newspaper quoting chemists and importers as attributing the high prices of the masks to merchants storing them for the purpose of selling them in higher prices and when they found out the prices of the masks rose in the international markets, the merchants decided to re-export the commodity and thus Chinese companies purchased all of the quantities.
"If this report is true, then by-by to ethics and to the supervision in Sudan," said Satti, expecting response by the pharmacists and the drug companies on the greediness of the merchants.

The measure of semi-shutdown of the government institutions, unlike the full-time closure of the educational institutions, had a negative effect as the customers crowded at those institutions, like the banks, as the work-power was cut down by 50% and crowds built up in limited places, raising fears of a spread of the Corona virus among the people.
In a column that was published by Altayyar daily newspaper of Tuesday, Asma'a Juma'ah said, besides the half-closure measure, another news, either leaked or rumored, two days ago about a 24-hour curfew also caused people throng at the banks to withdraw money and at the shops and markets to get what they need during the curfew.
The government did not deny or confirm the leaked or rumored news thus making people rush for precautions for the upcoming curfew, said Asma'a, calling upon the government to act against such a case and to immediately announce whatever decision it takes and to inform the people transparently of any measure it decides to take in such case as the pandemic Covid-19.

Following the ebb of the global horror and the Corona virus defeat, I expect tremendous international changes, the first of which will involve the doctors and the health personnel in general, wrote Osman Mirghani in a column carried by his Altayyar daily newspaper of Wednesday.
He added that he expects the medical profession will be an international one and, immediately after graduation, a doctor or a medial worker obtains an international, rather than a local registration and, according to this registration and license he will be entitled to obtaining an international passport that permits him to travel to all countries without having to get an entry visa beforehand.
It is true that there will a number of procedures and laws that regulate the international movement of the medical personnel but in any case the White Army, as it is presently called, will transform into an international reserve army that can be deployed everywhere in the world for the sake of the humanity, said Mirghani.
He added that the ministries of Health will act as focal points to operate in an electronic network to follow up the health situation in all nations after it has turned out that viruses can travel all over the world.

Omar Ushari, in a column published by Al-Sudani Aldauliyyah daily newspaper of Thursday, has justified an outrage by Information and Culture Minister-cum-official spokesman Faisal Mohamed Salih over the behavior of social media outlets, either denying the very existence of the Corona Virus disease or prescribing naïve drugs for the disease.
The columnist was referring to a recent statement by the spokesman in which he accused officials of a number of TV satellite channels, radio stations and newspapers he did not name of irresponsibility and, instead of contributing to a current intensive and extensive campaign of awareness and guidance to avoid catching the virus, tended to mislead the public by claiming that he Covid-19 is an imaginative disease or giving unscientific medicines.
The Minister has even warned of taking legal action against such media officials if they persist on this irresponsible behavior.
Ushari cited a number of unrealistic drugs for the treatment of the pandemic disease, including inserting one's head into a bag of red peppers, eating mango fruit and placing derivatives of an unknown herb in small bottles and presenting to the public for sale.

In his column that appeared on Altahrir online newspaper of Saturday, Khalid Abu Ahmed has bitterly criticized former Ingas regime official and presently chairman of the dissolved National Congress Party (NCP) Ibrahim Ghandour for writing in an article on face book about the value of justice which he added that it cannot be partitioned or politicized.
"How dare Ghandour and his bloody party talk about justice while they have slain hundreds of thousands of the Sudanese people in addition to the atrocities they have perpetrated during their oppressive rule," said Abu Ahmed.
After casting in the lengthy column suspicions in Ghandour's professorship and education qualifications and those of many of his NCP colleagues, Abu Ahmed reminded the NCP chairman of the atrocities the NCP regime committed against the Sudanese in different parts of the Sudan.
The columnist enumerated the crimes perpetrated by the defunct regime which are still awaiting justice to be done, mentioning in particular the unarmed protesters killed by the regime in Port Sudan in 2005, in Kajbar, White Nile State, in 2007, the summary execution of army officers in 1990 and the murder and drowning in the Blue Nile of 120 compulsory service students in Ailufoun (about 30 km east Khartoum North) besides the killing of hundreds of thousands of people and the crimes of rape in Darfur
