One hand-palm for separation, two hand-palms holing each other means unity

Registration of southerners who are legible to participate in the January 2011 referendum, the southerners have to choose between unity and separations, began in Khartoum on the 15th of this month. The Referendum commission held a presser explaining that there are two symbols, one hand palm and two hand palms: one palm meaning separations and two palms holding each other meaning unity. The Sudanese referendum commission says the registration began on the 15th of this month and continues for 17 days, in two thousand seven hundred eighty eight centers, including 165 centers in the north, and 8 centers outside the Sudan.
