Libyan National Council Chairman arrives in Khartoum

Khartoum, Sudan (sudnow.info) - Mustafa Abdul Jalil, Libya's Interim National Council Chairman, arrived in Khartoum Friday on a two day state visit to the Sudan.
The Libyan official will during the visit take part in the activities the 2nd general congress of the ruling National Congress Party, headed by President Omar Al Bashir, launched Thursday and will be concluded late Friday evening.
The Libyan official was received at Khartoum airport by President Omar al Bashir and senior government officials in Sudan and ambassadors accredited to the Sudan.
The two sides, according to the official Sudan News Agency, will hold a round of talks evening Friday.
