President Bashir leaves for Libya

Khartoum, Jan. 7/2012 (sudanow.info.sd)- The President of the Republic Field Marshal Omar Al Bashir, left for Tripoli, Libya, Saturday morning, on a two day state visit for talks with officials of the Libyan Transitional Council, on bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest.
The President is accompanied by Assistant of the President of the Republic, Dr Nafie Ali Nafie, General Bakri Hassan Salih, the Minister for Presidential Affairs, Ali Karti, the Minister for Foreign Relations, General Mohamed Atta, Director of the National security and Intelligence and Dr Mohamed Khair AL Zubair, the Governor of the Central Bank of Sudan.
The President was seen off at Khartoum airport by the First Vice president Ali Osman Mohamed Taha.
