Tun Mahathir Mohamed concludes his visit to Sudan

KHARTOUM, (sudanow.info.sd) - Former Malaysian Prime Minster, Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamed has concluded a three-day visit to Sudan Friday during which he participated in the activities of he Sudanese Malaysian investment and trade forum and presented a lecture on the experience of his country in development.


Dr Mahathir was seen off at Khartoum airport by the minister of Petroleum, Dr Awad Ahmed Al Jazz, as well as the state minister for Foreign Affairs, Salah Wanisi, and a number of officials and members of the embassy of Malaysia and Malaysian community in Khartoum.


It is to be noted that the visit of Tun Mahathir to the Sudan came at the invitation of the First Vice President, Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, to take part in the forum.
