Al-Bashir Vows to Help Libyans Resolve their Differences

Khartoum (Sudanow) Sudan on Wednesday said it will bring all
Libyan stakeholders to the negotiating table to help resolve their
differences and better Libyan people's lives.
President Omar al- Bashir vowed in a ceremony marking the graduation of
senior military officers at Sudan's Higher Military Academy that Sudan
would spare no effort to help Libyans sit around a negotiating table
to reach agreement on disavowing violence, terrorism and to develop
their homeland.
"We will do all we can to help bring the various Libyan parties to the
negotiating table, so that they will come winners for Libya and its
dear people, reject violence and terrorism in all its forms and
appellations" President Bashir stressed.
In his speech marking a graduation of senior military officers in
Sudan's Higher Military Academy in Omdurman, Khartoum, Wednesday, the
President stressed that the aim is help Libyan achieve unity and
stability of their homeland, saying he was confident of the Libyan
resolve to deny enemies of their country a chance to drag them, and
the Arab nation at large, to the "rotten hole of sedition, despair,
and hopelessness on any reform."
In the ceremony attended by the visiting Libyan Prime Minister,
Abdalla Al-Theni, President Bashir assured the visiting Libyan prime
Minister that Libya would find in the Sudan would be the right hand
and the tireless arm, sparing no sound advice, to help the Libyans
during that meeting until they reach an agreement n advisor that will
not lie and a brother that will provide sound advice."
The Sudan News Agency, (SUNA) said the graduates, apart from the
Sudanese officers, include Jordanian, Chadian, Egyptian, Mauritanian,
Libyan, and Yemeni officers
The Libyan prime minister is currently on a three day state visit to
the Sudan. He met with president Omar al Bashir and his senior aids,
including the first vice President and the Minister for defense as
well as leaders of the ruling national congress party.
On Tuesday the two countries, Sudan and Libya, said they have cleared
misunderstanding between the two sides as regards accusations that
Khartoum was siding with one side of the equation
Sudan's minister for Foreign Affairs, Ali Karti, said the two sides
are agreed that widely circulated information that Khartoum has taken
side against the Libyan government was not correct.
"The Sudan and Libya are agreed that the information circulated in the
media that Sudan has taken position with one side in the Libyan
government, is not correct." Karti said following conclusion of the
first round of talks the two sides held in Khartoum.
Karti said his country will also be hosing a meeting of Ministers of
Foreign Affairs of Libya's neighbors to discuss ways of resolving the
crisis in Libya. He did not however say when this meeting is going to
take place or which countries will be taking part in.
"We have agreed among Libyan neighbors ... that the method to be
following with regards to the situation in Libya is that of
reconciliation and bringing closer the various Libyan parties" the
said.
The Libyan Prime Minister, Abdalla Al-Theni, arrived in Khartoum
Monday evening on a three-day visit and was official received at
Khartoum Airport by the President Omer Al-Bashir and number of
ministers and senior government officials. He said Tripoli was looking
forwards to new horizons in the relations between the two governments
and the two peoples in Sudan and Libya, particularly that Khartoum
will be hosting the meetings of the Foreign Ministers of Libyan
neighbouring states, to discuss the Libyan crisis
