Great Biram festivities

During the Great Biram festivities, Sudanese usually sacrifice one sheep, or goat, in observance of the holy Eid Adha. The animal is usually brought from the rural area where most animals feed on natural fodders, with no chemical substances or fattening elements. Sudan, according to the latest figures released by the Animal Wealth Bank,2012, host over 104 million heads animals, including 29.8 million cattle, 39.4 sheep,30.8 million goats and 4.7 million head of camels. Sudan’s animal wealth is estimated to be four times the animal wealth in such countries like the Netherlands or France.
