According to the Sudan News Agency and the Sudan Media Centre, the two sides , the government of Sudan and the Sudan People Liberation Movement SPLM have signed an agreement in Addis Ababa, detailing provisional arrangements for the administration of Abyei area.
The agreement stipulates that the SPLM army should be withdrawn south of the 1956 borderline while the Sudan Armed Forces should be stationed north of the 1956 borderlines, while Ethiopian force will be brought to fill the vacuum left by the pull out of the two Sudanese sides.
